Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours dark blackish brown with a frothy beige head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and fruity with roasted malts, caramel, honey, charred wood, raisins in rum, hay, soil, chocolate, coffee and figs. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter, malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, burnt caramel, honey, raisins in rum, chocolate, dates, coffee and soil. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny roasted astringent and near full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter, malty and fruity with roasted malts, caramel, charred wood, raisins in rum, bitter chocolate coffee, hay and soil. Nice twist to the series. The rum barrel adds a dried fruit character the rest of the series more or less lacks. Nice and stands out from the rest.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient tan head. Aroma is very rum. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is rum and dark treacle. Alcohol is not a problem. Hints of chocolate and coffee. Nice stuff.

Flaska från Brewery International via SBs privatimport. En stor söt fruktig maffig IS. Hittar mycket söt torkad frukt inklusive russin men inga tydliga romsmaker. Men visst finns något söt, mörkt, fruktigt i bakgrunden som troligtvis är rom. Hur som helst riktigt gott.

Bottle, thanks SirLimsalot. (vintage 2013) Black with a small tan head. Aroma of rum, wood, chocolate, light roasted malt and some toffee. Similar taste. Nice body and with a well hidden alcohol. A tasty one.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, vanilla, raw sugar, licorice, chocolate and pumpernickel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of licorice and vanilla. Full bodied with low carbonation. Really good.

22oz bottle thanks to Darrel. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is great barrel roast cocoa and a nice rum note. Taste is very nice a good amount of barrel a nice rum note and a good roast.
