At Zythos 2017. Pours clear dark brown. Aroma is strong malts, caramel, nuts, whisky barrel. Body is medium, rather sweet, not overpowered, not sticky, good barrel flavours, malty. Lingering barley palate, warming. Good!

Bottle. Brown color with tan ring. Aroma is whisky, caramel, brown sugar. Taste is whisky, raisins, brown sugar, caramel and toffee, vanilla. Warming finish. Nice, but the regular Cuvée vd Keizer Blauw is better.

750ml bottle, batch 001/2015, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Beige head some of it remaining throughout while leaving clingy lacing behind. Next to clear mahogany coloured body. Moderate dried fruity aromas joined by berry skins. Mouth filling taste profile with impact of ripe berries, dates, vanilla caramel, wood and dry yeasty fruitiness towards the ending. Smooth, soft and warming on the swallow. Gets a bit sweet in the long run, so there more joyful beer drinking left for tonight. (Tromsø 16th and 17.04.2017).

KRS 051116. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is sugar, malt, alcohol. Flavor is sugar, malt, alcohol, whiskey, brown sugar, raisin, dried fruits, caramel, spices, yeast. Full body. Warming very nice beer.

Bottle shared at Hop Swap - Cock Tavern. Pours clear copper with a light, creamy head. Belgian yeast in the nose, toffee, dried berries. Medium to big sweet flavour with oily dates, figs, more dried berries, toffee, vanilla. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Moderately warming in the finish, with more hearty toffee, rich berries, toasted bread and caramel. Fun stuff.

Re-rate: Bottle, 750 ml from Bierhalle. Shared with others. Brown with medium beige head. Malty, caramel, light dried fruity, bitterish finish. Sweet. Medium bodied. Better than last time, seems less sweet. Old rate 12/01/2017 Bottle at Majstor za Pivo, Belgrade. Shared with Miro and Max, Pours brown with medium beige head. Malty, yeasty, light fruity, spices. Sugary, way too sweet. Some alcohol, couldn’t really detect whisky, warming. Full bodied. Expected much more than a sugar bomb. 7/4/6/3/13
