Ölet är bryggt på Pilsner-, Münchner-, Havre-, Chokladråg- och Special W-malt samt rostat korn. Tillsammans med mörkt muscovadosocker och en balanserad beska ifrån Magnum och Chinook-humle har vi skapat ett relativt välbalanserat öl, trots sin styrka.
Den balanserade sötman och kraftiga choklad- och kaffesmaken passar bra till chokladbaserade efterrätter. Barrantes vinner definitivt på att lagras. Vi rekommenderar ett provsmak om året. Bunkra!

Bottle shared at the Cafe Abseits tasting during the Post Christmas Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours deep brown with a foamy, tan cap. Very good stuff. Nice coffee character, aged malts, dry chocolate. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate warmth in the finish, more cocoa, dried bread. Good one.

Pours black with a khaki head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla and liquorice. Taste is dominated by the coffee notes with some liquorice and vanilla. Dry and smooth.

Bamber Jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Tasting at Cafe Abseits. Thanks to Ronny. Opaque dark caramel coloured coloured pour with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet vanilla, chocand a little veg chilli. Flavour is some vanilla, choc, veg, chilli. Some sweet caramel. Decent enough.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy black, small head. Huge espresso aroma. Sweet and full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Loads of espresso, some syrup. Coffeeish bitter finish.

Bottle via trade with HackoBock. Thanks. Pours black with a beige head and lacings. Massive licorice and roasted coffee. Dry and bitter. Very smooth with a warming finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in March 2014. Black with a creamy tan head. Quite a lot of coffee both in the aroma and taste. Also salty licorice, dark chocolate and dark malt. Creamy mouthfeel and with a dry finish. A tasty one.
