Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium frothy white head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma is wood, vanilla, yeast, caramel. Thin mouth, strong whiskey, vanilla, wood, burnt toasted malt, light dryness, very good.

Tap at the brewery - listed.as 10.2 abv, so perhaps a new entry is in order?.- anyway, this is crazy sweet and tastes mostly like whiskey, at least up front, but it actually.dries out a bit and.develops a complex spicy yeast character reminiscent of their tripel - so it really ends on a high note, and the mild peatiness compliments the yeast phenolics really well - seriously growing on.me.

Bottle. Almost clear golden liquid with small to medium white head. Aroma of bread, white pepper, bubblegum, banana, earth and biscuit. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of bubblegum, white pepper, banana and toffee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Weird. Too sweet.

Batch 2, bottle 253/250. 22oz bottle pours a dark orange with some soft, white head. Smells of fresh wood, caramel, sugary, a little spice, vanilla, almost a hint of vermouth. Flavor is sugary, sweet, fresh wood, lightly herbal. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Bottle @ Rackhouse Colorado Rare Beer Tasting. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a cream coloread head. A bit spicy, caramel, light barnyard, moderate whiskey flavor. In the flavor, the whiskey seemed to be a bit dominate over everything else with mild fruity, toasty malty, light spicy notes also present.
