16 oz can bought in St Pete, FL. Opaque pitch black color with a fizzy light brown head and decent retention. No lacing. Light roast nose. Dark roasted flavor with just a bit of molasses and coffee in the finish. Thin mouthfeel for a stout. Very smooth. Drinks like a schwarzbier. The 6.6 ABV is invisible. Decent, but not worthy of the 95 scores here.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, relatively fast-dying two centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, pure oatmeal, a big dash of caramelised sugars and toffee and ending with some light coffee and just a hint of chocolate. Medium-bodied; Assertive oatmeal flavour with a great prune and plum flavour from some pitted fruits, all with a big dose of roasty bitterness, some alcohol and a dash of caramel on the finish. Aftertaste shows a good balance of malt and sugars with a lot of the oatmeal and roastiness coming through with some lighter pitted fruit flavours and a touch of prunes at the very tail end coming along. Overall, a nice and well balanced Oatmeal Stout that shows a lot of a sweet side and no real bitterness or pungency at all. Great to sample and one of the better beers in this style and an Oatmeal Stout that i've had in a long time. Definitely worth trying to find if you are anywhere near the area! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from CashWise Liqours in Minot, North Dakota on 06-October-2016 for US$2,50 for a FOUR PACK, yes, 62,5 cents per bottle! Sampled at home in much more expensive Washington on 15-January-2018. Smell of chocolate, roasted malt. Very dark brown colour, high brown head. Aroma of chocolate, some tar, rubber in finish. Very sweet. Heavy to start with, finish is lighter. Surprisingly light body for this ABV. Very flat carbon, slightly viscous texture. Promising... but could be so much more.

Fall bottle share - Imperial Stouts A lighter stout. Malty and thin. Nothing off, just wasn't very impressive.

Pours a black from a can, quickly dissipating dark khaki head. Big treacly sweet chocolate/coffee aroma, similar thick syrupy flavor. Okay beer.
