Bottle 500ml as "Witnicki Porter Lubuskie 18,1 %". Dark brown color, good steady beige head., some lace. Toasted maltyness, a bit of coffee and caramel in the flavor. Medium-bodied. Licorice, sweet caramel, medicinal vibe. Even some milky notes. Sweet aftertaste. Much worse than I remember Black Boss.

Bien hecha.

Sour smell of malt. Very dark red colour, small white head. Aroma of metal, also licorice, alcohol, raisins. Finishes with syrup. Mostly sweet with some bitterness. Soft but plentiful carbon. Oily but also watery texture. Way too metallic.

Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, rich red berry fruit and alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet moderate to light bitter with a rich dry smoky malt, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Ciemno brunatna barwa, bezowa piana niestety szybko znika. Aromat czekoladowy, slodki, lekko palony.

Black with beige head and nice lacing. Dark coffee aroma. Chocolate and roasted hints. Medium bitter. Light sweetness. Nicely hidden alcohol. Medium carbonation and body. Not bad but not a miracle in porters’ world. It’s just quite ok.

Had this as Witnicki Porter Lubuskie. Huge thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black, nice head. Starts intense malty, quite roasty, bitter-dry background. Some hints of liquorice. Also some earthy notes. Finish more balanced, less dry, still intense malty. Bitter aftertaste. Nice one!

* Old rating, many thanks to kevnic2008. Rated as Witnicki Porter 18,1%. Best before 18.01.11. Etwas scharfes, leicht dickflüssiges Bier. Dunkle Pflaumen, leicht schokoladig, scharf herb im Nachgeschmack.
