Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is a bit sweetish, with a good fruityness. Little saison yeast impact. Some lemony notes in the flavor, mostly fruity, with some bitterness. Malty hints. Medium body, nice carbonation. Certainly not the most interesting saison I’ve had, lacking a whole lot on character. 130813

On tap. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a white head and good lace. Aromas are of isoamyl acetate, peppery, medium phenol, 4VG clove, tamarind, citrus rind, floral. Low malt character. Flavors are malty and bready. Yeast characters: medium isoamyl, light pear, 4vg phenol. Bready, peppery, dry. Lively carbonation, brisk and dry mouthfeel.

Draft @ Pizza Port San Clemente. Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity spicy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor with weak hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.

Draught at the brewpub during RBSG. Clear, yellow liquid with medium white head. Aroma of pepper, fruity belgo yeast, citrus, cereal and lemons. A bit stinky. Taste is dry and medium bitter with pepper and cereal. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. OK but not amazing.

Tap at San Clemente. Dirty yeast nose with spice and bread. Malty, spicy flavor, with lots of yeast. Low hops but nicely bitter. the yeast is a bit stinky and amateurish.

From tap at San Clemente. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light fruity and mild peppery. Smooth fruity, light peppery and yeasty. Light bitter and crisp hoppy. Dry finish.

Draught Deep-golden beer, white rim. Grainy, faintly spicey herbal, peachy-soapy. Soapy, citrussy flavour, light but balanced, which is exceptional for Saison over here. Body is very light, with a gristy slickness. Light Saison... that’s what Saison IS!

On tap at Dark Lord Day 2012. Sweet musty fruity/banana aroma. Yellow with a small white head. Sweet tart fruitiness, musty banana flavor, and a lingering clove bitterness. Light body, dry finish.

Tap at DLD12. Musty peach and malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet and musty peach/apple malt flavor. Nice body. Solid - very good beer.
