clear dark amber to mahogany colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of raisins, dried cherry and plum, toasted notes and caramel; taste has the same notes with some herbal bitternes and hints of licorice; alcohol is completely hidden; quite enjoyable Belgian strong ale

On tap at pizzeria menarini. Reddish brown color, clear, short persistent creamy beige head, lacing. Solid malt backbone with carmel and light berries, very subtle hops providing a grassy note. ABV incredibly well hidden. Light body, clean finish. Smooth, sweetish, doesn't smack and end result is quite anonymous.

750 ml bottle. Clear, copper red to amber body with a nice, lacing off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, dry fruit and toast. Flavor is really sweet and otherwise like aroma, caramel malt, dry fruit, toast and a moderate bitterness towards the end. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. Basically way too sweet, but as some Belgium somehow manage to create some kind of balance even with this sweetness it feels pretty nice. Quite enjoyable actually.
