schenkt zwart en vrij dun in, met prikkelende bruine kraag die bovendien erg snel verdwijnt. aroma van mout, chocolade en wat koffie. smaken zijn matig zoet, koffie, gebrande mout, redelijk bitter van koffie en geroosterde mout, matig kruidig, zwakke body, glad van textuur, goede smaken maar over het algemeen wat de dun/waterig.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, BB Nov 2016, large sample. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of big roast, bit mocha, dark fruit, slight coffee, dark bread, slight vanilla and toffee. Slight sweet, medium roasty bitter, dark bread crust again. Quite high on the dark malts, bit too much actually. Lacks some softer sweetness in body to balance it out.

Bottle at home. Very dark brown with short lasting creamy brown head. Lots of cocoa and dark chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla, dried plums, chocolate cookies. Over medium sweet with light roasted bitterness. Almost full bodied with creamy carbonation. Very nice.

Dark black-brown color, decent brownish head. Coffee, chocolate and some alcohol in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Coffeish, chocolaty, some hints of milky lactose. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. Soft.

330ml bottle at home, thanks to MonsterMagnet (European Local swap 2/2015). Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, cocoa, coffee - some licorice. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium to full oily silky body with soft carbonation. Could drink this every day! Thanks David!

Dark black, 2 finger very creamy coffee coloured head. Aroma is bursting with creamy coffee and chalk with and heavily caramelized malts. Mouthfeel is actually oily and very thin. Lots of unfermented sugars. Tons of milk chocolate and sweet fudge. Some raisin and orange peel and cherry finish. Decent tongue tingling. Interesting.

Das Bier ist fast schwarz und hat eine ordentliche dunkel beige Schaumkrone. Geruch ist sehr röstmalzig, schokoladig, Vanille, Lacto. Geschmack röstmalzig, leicht bitter schokoladig, Kaffee, das ganze könnte etwas gehaltvoller sein.
