An IPA with a citrus kick, Virmalised GF uses a blend of hops and fresh grapefruit.
Taste: Sweet fresh citrus mixes with a refreshing acidity before more citrus joins the party, intertwining with a sweet biscuity malt character. A hoppy freshness comes in after the initial citrus kick, reminding of classic Virmalised flavours, before finishing off with more zesty grapefruit .

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is piney hops with grapefruit, orange, marmalade, malt, some caramel, pine resin. Flavour is sweetish with a medium bitterness. Body is medium. Grapefruity and piney, bit sweetish, nice.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of fruity and piney hops, more notes of old jam / marmalade than fresh grapefruit. The flavour is citric (notes of grapefruit and other citrus fruits) and refreshing, with a decent malty backbone. Hints of resin in the finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Odi's place. Thanks zvikar. Clear golden. Stale hops, oxidation, sweetish, a bit of honey, some bitterness, medium-bodied.

Flaska från Tallinn. Bärnstensfärgad, klar med smutsvit krona. Mycket grape, kåda, granskott, citruszest, syltade apelsinskal, viss kakighet. Mjuk och fin kropp. Stor, markant beska. Old school västkust-IPA som drar oerhört mycket åt Sculpin eller Sculpin Grapefruit. Gott!

Bottle. Orange golden color. Pours a huge head. Oily hops and grapefruit in the aroma. Oily floral hopbitter flavor with grapefruit. Slightly perfumed.
