It was when we were selecting our delicious and light beer profiles, particularly appreciated in our Mediterranean climate, that we had the brainwave of blending in some grape tannins in order to stabilize the aromas and the rosée hue that we wanted this LA TROP ROSEE rosée beer with grape tannins to have.

We chose a Pilsen-type craft beer recipe, created by bottom fermentation, resulting in a highly aromatic character, using malts selected for their delicacy and purity, combined with two types of hops, bringing subtle fragrant notes and a slight, delicate bitterness.

The yeasts, which are also very carefully selected, create this well-balanced, delicious, fresh beer. We blend in concentrated grape must and grape tannins to provide this gentle brew with a fine structure of natural fruity aromas and to stabilize its rosé hue, also of natural origin.

33cl bottle (4,9%) from Monoprix Nice Victoire, Nice, France. Big, pink, bit long lasting head. Colour is pinky murky, hazy. Aroma is sweet artificial raspberries, raspberries candy, white sugar, bit citrus, grapes? Taste is medium malty base, sugary raspberries, may be grapes also but all together is so sugery sweet with touch of lemon so hard to rate this as a beer.

Bottle found at the SAQ, has a fancy pull-tab cap. Says 4.9% on the side. Pours foamy seven-up heavily carbonated. Aroma is sugary cloying sweetness with a hint of cabbage vegetables. Flavour is soft rose wine with some sweetness on the back end, rosewater perhaps, floral for sure. Dry finish. Flavour is quite nice but this is not a good looking, nor good smelling, beer.

Bottle - Weird sweet candy perfume. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet candy like notes with a weird creamy finish. Not good.
