8cl sample at Struise Brouwers @ The Old School (visited 25.5.2019), but why rum? I asked and this was in wine barrels. F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: brown, hazy. A: nice woody, caramel, bit chocolate, red wine, bit sour fruity. T: light chocolate, caramel, bit vinous, woody, sour red fruits, medium to full body, medium carbonation, very good balanced for the style, fully enjoyed.

Clear deep ruby to red brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: some vinegar, fruity, wood notes, very nice. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, soft roast, lots of tannins, some caramel, nice acidity, some vinegar. Aftertaste: pretty bitter touch, lots of tannins, wood notes, acidic, pretty dry finish.

Dark amber colored, no head. Aroma is of some malt, tart cherries, vinous, bit woody barrel, light toast and caramel, bit spicy. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit caramel, toast, cherries, moderate tartness, vinous, bit spicy, some woody notes, dryish finish. Medium bodied, soft to flat carbonation, oily.
