On tap at CBC 2016. Dark caramel with no head. Olives, figs, dried fruit and sugar. Smooth mouthfeel, almost no carbonation.

Keg at cbc 16. M dark brown. Thin tan lacing... Soft woody oak malts nose.. Soft sweet toffee malts.. Rich body

On tap at Orsted Olbar. Pours a very dark brown with no head. Aromas of light oaky barrels, earthy yeast and brown sugar. Flavors of candi sugar, sweet sticky malts, dry wood and subtle spice. Sticky. Great.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Small head with good suration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are nuts, fruits, malt, caramel, sugar and hops. Nice and sweet malty and nutty finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus as Lervig Brewers Reserve Barley Wine 2016 BA Jack Daniels. 12.5 % ABV. Hazy very dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and bourbon. Flavor is extremely sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with heavy alcohol. Oily and soft. 090516

Handpump @Ma che siete venuti a fĂ (Rome). Pours deep amber/brown with a medium and persistent off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, dessert wine, nuts powder, lots of oxidation. Flavour is medium sweet, vinous, nice bitter end. High body, soft carbonation. Ok.

Tap@Fementoren, Copenhagen during the Amager/Lervig takeover(23/03/2016) dark brown pour with a reddish hue and off-white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with a plethora of dark dried fruit, some additional caramel sweetness, nice boozy warming bear hug of a finish.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, molasses, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, oxidation, metal, prunes, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. A bit too much for me.

From tap. Pours dark brown with a deep and golden amber glare, small tan head. Aroma is oxidised and roasted dark malty. Sweet, minerals and dense dark malty. Dry roasted, minerals, bitter and oxidised. Roasted and dark malty to minerals finish.
