Draught, 9.5% at KØ15. Mild coffee aroma. Black colour. Beautiful creamy stable dark brown head. The flavour is sweet with a mild coffee note. Not very bitter. Lactose sweetness, a bit much, actually.

Bottle at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Andra Långgatan, Göteborg, 21/03/14. Pitch black with a big old dirtyish tan head. Nose is light roast, caramel fudge, earthy pangs, light mocha, chocolate. Taste comprises caramel fudge, mellow vanilla, light coffee, chocolate, dark malt base, tiramisu. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet pangs in the closure. Solid enough easy drinking impy, if a little sweet in place and lacking any real depth.

Bottle @ Ölstugan Tullen. Pours dark reddish blackish brown with a small frothy and bubbly dark mocha head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet, tiny sour and malty with roasted malts, sweet dark bread, sweetened condensed milk, dark roast coffee, caramel, banana split, dark chocolate, vanilla milk shake, green bell peppers and hints of burnt wood. Taste is sweet, bitter, tiny sour and malty with roasted malts, liquorice fudge, dark roast coffee, brown sugar sweetened dark roast coffee with skimmed milk, burnt wood, toffee, clotted cream, charred grains and hints of sour milk and vanilla. Mouthfeel is round, soft, tiny roasted astringent, tiny lactic tart and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and slightly sour with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, unflavored yogurt, dark chocolate, soil, hay and hints of vanilla milkshake and unripe banana. Forgettable milk stout served way way way too cold. Tried to wait for it to warm but it was served pretty close to freezing. Would love to give this another chance.
