Red Mo'o
Red Mo'o is a triple-type blond beer with an intense golden color and a fine white moss. The brewing process of the Red Mo'o is close to the North American method that uses very aromatic hops to give balance to the beer and release a very pleasant bouquet with notes of tropical fruits. On the palate, we find a beer of character with a balanced bitterness.
Our artisanal beers are available in limited edition 33cl bottles.

Deep golden coloured body with almost an amber and copper glow, all without much head at all, after starting with a centimetre and a half of a tan head. Aroma of honey, peated malt, grain, astringent nuts and earth, a dose of flowers and some pure caramelised sugars that doesn't really amount to anything Belgian and definitely nothing of a Tripel. Medium-bodied; Strong sweet honey flavour at first that shows a lot of pungency with the grain and nutty flavours showing right behind and leaving the palate a bit sharp with the alcohol and bitterness from the sweetness the strongest of the bunch. Aftertaste shows a little nutty and earthy flavours with the grain and astringency quite high, but the honey again shows through and topples everything else, even alcohol. Overall, a decent enough beer, but definitely not a tripel, and sadly, not anything Belgian-inspired. I saved this one for last, since I thought it was my last hope of finding a good beer produced down here, but I was mistaken - I believe my favourite of the bunch was the 'typical' Hinano Amber. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased yesterday from Champion [supermarche] in [downtown] Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia on 31-July-2019 for XPF380 sampled the following day, before leaving for Tokyo, Japan, later at my hotel here in Papeete.
