Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet dark malt, caramel toffee, raisins, dried fruits, alcohol, with some soft spicy notes. Flavour is quite sweet and mildly bitter. Body is above medium. A bit simple and boozy, lacks the yeasty finesse of a good Quad.

Tap at Koperen Kat, Delft: Brown/red colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, with hints of dried fruits and some spices. Is this not an barley wine rely on the color?

Bottle. Amber color. Toffee, hints of dried fruit and yeast in the aroma. Malty sweet soft yeasy flavor with toffee and dried fruit. Full bodied. Nutty finish. Decent, slightly alcoholic beer.

amber/bruin met volle licht bruine kraag. aroma is zoet, caramel, rozijn, lichte wijn. smaken enorme alcohol, redelijk tot zwaar zoet, rozijn, bruine suiker, wat simpel allemaal. matige tot redelijke body, co2 ok. ,maar zoals gezegd..wat simpel.. --- Beer merged from original tick of De Kater on 18 May 2018 at 13:36 - Score: 6

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Hazy amber brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of coriander, malt, grain, veggies. Just not good, it’s tough to go on with this beer. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I’m not finishing my glass of this one.

33cl bottle from the brewpub shared with Kermis. Very thin white head. Very hazy amber pour. A bit thin.
