Bottle - Sweet pine, resin, grapefruit and orange peel. Clear copper with a thin head. Candy floss hops with some nice spicy hops to balance. Bitterness is subtle but definitely there. There is a bit of heat, not sure if that is the alcohol or the spice. Overall a very nice beer, well balanced and uniquely flavored.

From a 22 oz bottle at home. Bottle marked spring 2012. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head. Not much aroma. Flavors of grass, floral and citrus notes. Probably past its prime.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow gold with a small off white head that laces well. Faint pine aroma. Flavor is very resinous, a bit floral, light bready sweetness, a touch of spicy rye, and a light bitterness lingering through the finish. Flavor its quite nice, i just wish the aroma was a bit more

Tap at Hair Of The Dog, Portland - 06/11/12. Opaque pineapple juice yellow with a thin white head that soon clears to the edge. Pine, bitter grapefruit and citrus on the nose. Taste of Pine, hops and bitter grapefruit. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter dry finish. Good tackle.

Bomber, Summer 2011 bottle. Pours cloudy yellow-orange with a dissipating white head; collapses into a ring of foam. Aroma consists of grapefruit rind, perfumy hops. Taste is bittersweet, as it should be. Nicely balanced. A tasty imperial IPA, but I expect more from this brewery. Probably much better fresh. At least it’s not vegetal! (at least not very much).
