Tap at Shinshu Sake. Amber colour, small off white head. Aroma is malty, bit fruity, some sweetness. Taste is nice again, lots of malt, fruity again. Solid enough. Rerate: Had it again straight out of the can from Le Collier. Aroma more citrussy this time, similarly with the taste, but still plenty of maltiness. Seems like I scored it the same though. Third time's a charm. This time at ibrew on tap. Really nice. Citrus and malty. Extremely vague I know, but just a nice beer.

Can from the source. Nice golden amber pour with some white foam on top. Sweet citrusy orange nose, malty base shines through but that fruity thing is in the forefront. Taste is malty but well balanced with hops, some breadier flavours coming out at the end. Quite decent and nicely drinkable pale ale.

Cloudy amber color. Nice apples and citrusy, slightly sweet maltiness. Body is a bit heavier than I would like for the style. Modestly bitter. Not bad little pale ale but doesn’t go anywhere special.

Can from Le Petit L’Ouest in Shimo-kita. Can says 5% ABV. Big nose of tropical fruit, especially pineapple with a hint of grain as well. Taste is quite bitter for a pale ale, but still solid. Nice dry finish. A little over-carbonated for my taste. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pale Ale on 21 Sep 2015 at 17:07 - Score: 6

On tap at Beer Craft Man, a clear copper gold with a lovely tropical fruit hop bouquet. The taste is piney grape, fruity sweet with a solid malt backbone. A piney bitter finish refreshes the palate & stirs your appetite.

Draft - light citrus and grass hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Citrus and resin with a decent amount of bitterness that is still going into the finish.

Can. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of spicy hops, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Can at Nagano Sake Village. Actually, not sure if this is a seasonal or not. It was in one of their regular cans, not the Raiden seasonal ones. soft, nice citrus hop aroma, grapefruit, sweat, light malt with a bit of caramel. Flavor is caramel, citrus hops, minerals. Nice balance. Nicely drinkable and tasty with a light hop finish. A standard American PA.
