Tap at Keyaki. Dark brown, not much head. Aroma is sugar, bit of roast, slightly savoury. Taste is nice. Sweet, sugary, bit of roast. Slightly burnt finish. Decent.

Dark brown color. Lovely nose of bakers chocolate, molasses and tobacco. Fantastic nose. The body is a bit too thin. With lots of cacao and molasses. Modestly sweet cacao finish.

Keykaki fall 2016. Dark cacao and molasses nose with some star anise that comes out as it warms. Easy drinking and slightly creamy on the palate. Lightly toasted molasses on the finish. Granola. Decent. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stout Ale Kokutou on 20 Sep 2016 at 22:25 - Score: 6

473 ml glass at GBF Shibuya. Black with light tan head. Aromas of chocolate, roast, light lactose. Tastes of dark chocolate, vanilla, oats, roast. Medium body with a dry finish and creamy mouthfeel.

Shiroyama Kokutou stout 5% it pours a dark brown with ruby highlights and a filmy beige head. A sweet stout aroma with some lactose savoury chocolate. Med-light bodied verging on watery with a sharp carbonation. The taste is sweet creamy chocolate, a bit of dark pitted fruits and possibly a hint of licorice. Quite solid.

Draught. Aroma of roasty malt and brown sugar. Black with a low head. flavor of brown sugar, chocolate, coffee, and berries. Nice tangy, fruity edge. Not great, but light and nice.
