Bottle bought from the brewery. Dark brown colour with initial big golden head. Aroma is dark fruits, bit of chocolate, creamy. Not much else, but very nice nonetheless. Taste is similar, immediately lots of fruit, plums, touch of cherry, lots of roast malt, some creamy chocolate. Also something herbal in there giving it a really distinctive taste. Very nice. Haven't had a bad beer from this brewery.

Draft at Keyaki Spring 2015. Pours a deep brown with a nice tan head. Nose is all cacao nibs, roasted malts, espresso, and peppery arugula. Medium body with a full and rich flavor. The coffee and cacao nibs stand out but plum, raisin and prune come out as it warms up. The finish is slightly bitter and sour with the vegetable qualities really shining. Very complex porter. Bottle from the brewery. Pours deep brown with a small beige head - that soon reduces into a thin lacing. Aroma takes its time before it reveals itself from the cold pour. When it does, it is worth it - deep roast, malts and toffee with some dried dark fruits. Taste is a mouthful, feels quite thick and full of roasted malt flavours, with something more sour. Bitter chocolate and leaving long-lasting dry aftertaste. Nice brew that packs a lot of flavour and full body for the 5% of abv. Good stuff!

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. Ogawa porter a nice dark brown pour with a light beige head. Fruity cacao nose. Medium bodied with a decent mouthfeel. The taste is roasty, chocolate, cacao & bitter dark malts - solid.

Draught at Eni-Bru. Roasty aroma with coffee. Quite strongly roasted flavor, slightly creamy, with coffee and a touch of dark chocolate, plus a bit of fruit, berry-like. Soft, smooth body. A nice porter, very drinkable.
