Bomber pour to snifter. Red/brown with faint head. Aromatic. Sour, tart fruit on palate, slightly acidic--in a good way--on the finish. Overall, very nice. It went nicely with my steak and salad. I saw a comment on how tough it was to get the cork out and can confirm that. I used pliers to twist it and break its bond to the bottle before I worked it out by hand.

Dog Days of Summer Gathering, thanks Beerlando. copperish, off-white head. dark fruits and some berry tartness, light caramel malts, and caramelized apple, touch of wild yeast. Sour side is nicely done, blending perfectly with the barrel aging, leaving some lingering vinegary notes on the palate.

On tap at MBGSF 2010. Nice red color, no head. Clean, lactic, sour, acetic aroma. Flavor of yogurt, cherry, vinegar, oak, dust. Ok, though a bit simple.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small tan head and an orange body. Aroma is fruity, burnt hair, wine, and soil. Taste is fruity, burnt hair, wood, and a somewhat bitter finish. Astringent. Lively bubbles, dry. Not a huge fan of this one.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden red with a slight brown hue and a tan head that dissipates quickly but laces nicely. Aroma is nice with tart fruits, particularly berries. Flavor is a bit thin with a sour fruit flavor, but it is much weaker and leaves something to be desired. Also could use a bit more carbonation.
