Magnum bottle, side by side with the Bourbon version. Poured into a larger La Face Cachée long stemmed tuliped-copita glass. The greatest similarlity between the two beers is the appearance (well duh). Both are dark amber/orange beers that are very thick and very murky. No head at all, and barely any hiss out the bottle. Aroma is much more papery and empty compared to the Bourbon. Not complex of funky at all. The has a bit more sweetness to it and some oak and old maltiness coming through. There is a hint of light aceto in the back and has a faint funky finish, In comparison to the Pinot this was the ugly duckling, maybe on its own its better but this, side by side, was a very useless beer.
