Magnum shared by daVinci at the RBSG. Nice, sour, nice orange amber color. Pears, peaches, complex fruits and dryness. Complex, interesting beer but I didn’t write enough about it. Great to have tried it.

Bottle number 079 thanks to bu11zeye. Pours still with a hazed orange body and no head. Aroma is buttery with pinot, wood, sour, fusel alcohol, soil, horse blanket, and caramel. Taste is funky with pinot, sourness and tons of alcohol. Still mouthfeel, alcoholic and slightly syrupy.

FRO Throwdown: Ruby tinted copper. More vinous and fruity than the bourbon one (obviously). Smooth and sour, with low carbonation. A bit watery, with big acidity. Light fruitiness in the flavor.

Sample at O-town throwdown ’09 bottle#105 Pours murky brown/orange, no head. Aroma is fruity and tart with light touch of wood and wine remnants.. Taste was a lot nice than the bourbon version, plenty of tart red fruits such as cherry and raspberry give it a fine wine mouthfeel. . A lot smoother on the palate. Enjoyed this one a lot more, alcohol well hidden.
