A beer with generous amounts of wheat malt for a light, refreshing taste. Look for the subtle hints of spice and lemon.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy golden yellow color with a slight transparency about it allowing some light carbonation to be seen rising throughout. One finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing here and there.
The smell had a tart to sweet lemon / citrus - ness going on.
The taste was basically the same thing.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp and didn’t offer the kick I was expecting from the wheat or lack thereof.
Overall, well anyways, it’s just an okay kind of beer. Nothing bad just another Saranac.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden orange appearance with a white head. Orange citrusy, slightly yeasty, slightly bitter, wheat malty nose. Pretty orange citrusy, slightly spicy, lightly yeasty, wheat malty flavor. Citrusy, somewhat bitter aftertaste. Boring, typical, lame summer ale.

Pours bright gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface. Slight roasted malt aromas. Sweet crisp dough upfront turning dry in the medium length malt finish.

Bottle. Pale gold color. Aroma of coriander and citrus. Flavors of that, and wheat malt, a bit of butter. Smooth and refreshing, ok but a bit too much spice.

Bottle from the Natomas BevMo. Pours orange/amber with a decent foamy off-white head. Light citrus and malt aromas. Near medium body with foamy carbonation. When the flavor goes away a lightly peppery citrus is mostly what’s left, and that goes a bit wheaty/papery. Finish is kind of washed out. Started decent though.
