Tap at CBM Koenji. Ruby red grapefruit, pink lemonade nose with some light bubblegum. Very alcopop-like more so than beer. Sweet on the palate, but the carbonation is refreshing. It’s not beer, but fun I guess.

Tap at 23 Craft Beers, Nagoya. Amber-orange color, small white head. Strong tropical fruity aroma, lots of passion fruits. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Flavor has also lots of passion fruits. Also citrus peel and strawberries. Almost a lady drink.

On tap at the GJBF Osaka. A light pink color with a minimal head. A very sweet deliciously fruity sour aroma. The flavor is more like a carbonated grapefruit cocktail than a beer, sweet & delicious though slightly artificial.

Draught at the Tanabata Beer Festa Toyama, 2010. Pastel salmon-pink color. Cloudy, with a tall, fine, pinkish-white head. Sweet grapefruit aroma, with little that is beer-like—maybe a touch of hops? Super sweet flavor of grapefruit, with a bit of salt and a bitter finish that seems to come from the zest more than hops. Rather astringent, actually. Refreshing as hell and pleasant enough though not beer-like.
