Is this the same as the Miyajima Pilsner? On tap at the Kyoto Beer Fest 2014. Apparently they are the same, a semi/cloudy gold pour with a thick fluffy head. A really graham biscuit nose. medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is graham, pils malts & noble hop. Quite clean tasting & refreshing. Color me surprised.

Draught at Craft Beer Live, Namba May 23, 2010. Very fruity and sweet smelling, dark golden with no head, really. Fruity flavor with some peach and pear. A little butter. I’d guess it was an ale as well, and a happoshu. It’s not even as good as the other one. Drinkable but not good at all.
