Wakasa Amber 5% A mahogany brown with a beige head but the foam doesn’t linger or leave lacing behind. Peppery (is there rye in this?) and dry biscuit/hardtack type aroma. Light bodied, nicely malty with caramel and biscuit notes. A bit on the watery side in terms of mouthfeel but solid and eminently drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the brewery. Amber-orange with a medium high, fine head. Earthy caramel malt aroma. Rich amber / caramel malt flavor with some grassy hops, salt, and a mineral finish. Decent buy not all that memorable. Slightly watery. The best of their three beers.
