Keyaki. Didn't notice the Belgian part of the name but I was toasted and it sounds right from the other ratings. Light blond colour, bit cloudy, small white head. Aroma is light pumpkin, little bit spicy. Taste is interesting, very light on the pumpkin but it comes afterwards. Nice and grainy. Pretty subtle for a pumpkin beer and all the better for it. Crisp and refeshing.

Under the name Pumpkin Ale at CBM Koenji. Slightly hazy straw color with a big soapy head. Light pumpkin, squash aroma with some light malt and grass. Taste is pretty mild with a super thin body. No fall spices here, only beer with a hint of pumpkin. Very active carbonation, but super bland. Not much flavor comes out to be honest. Dry finish.

At the Kyoto mini-beer fest Oct. 2012. This is the pumpkin ale?? It looks like a weizen! It tasted ok but had zero pumpkin flavor. I felt maybe they made it with an ale yeast but followed a lager/white beer brewing technique? Ok as an average ale but no pumpkin so it was a miss for me.

Draught at Q-Brick. Light blonde color with a tall, foamy head. Sweet, malty aroma, fruity. with Belgian yeast, spices, and a touch of pumpkin. Spicy, yeasty flavor, with citrus, tangy hops and a light kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) flavor. The kabocha adds to the body and flavor without taking over, making it a very nice, well-balanced, Belgian blonde.
