Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Shy hoppy background. Finish well balanced, a bit boring malty. Okay.

0,5 L pour from the big cask at the brewery. Unknown color, in the opaque stein, but the head is pretty think and persistent. The nose is cream, hay, white sugar, honey, and cardamom. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Light body, with a creamy, effervescent feel. This is a simple, light, and enjoyable beer.

Gravity wooden mug at the brewpub in Salzburg-Austria. Appearance can’t be described, aroma is grainy with a soft yeast note, pastry and almonds milk. Bit sweet as an aroma. Mouth: carbonation is fantastic, sparkling start and flat overall, medium body, sweetness is soft, hay. Crazy clean

500 ml bottle, bought directly from the brewery in Salzburg. Pours clear dark golden with medium foamy head. Sweet malty nose. Hay, grain, bread, some caramel, malts, citrus. Medium bitterness with a sweet hint; very balanced and perfect Märzen taste. Lively carbonated, dry finish, medium bodied, süffig. Very palatable and refreshing Märzen. I can't get enough of it. Fantastic.

Goldene Farbe mit großer, weißer Schaumkrone. Angenehm süßer, malziger Geruch in der Nase. Geschmacklich ist es süßlich malzig, getreidig mit etwas Karamell. Sehr süffig und geradlinig.

Draught @ the brewpub, Salzburg. Aroma has sweetish malt and some toffee. Flavour has sweetish malt, grainy tones and some toffee. Usually märzen is not an easy style for me but this one has rather good drinkability.

0,5l bottle at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks. BB 07.02.2017. clear golden shiny color, small white head. smells doughy, fruity, tobacco, ripe fruits. overall nice smell. medium body, bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of bread, doughy, lightly citric, tobacco, light caramel, bit peppery, spices. finishes lightly sweet with notes of dough, tobacco and spices. quite good one, very smooth drinking, the bubbly carbonation makes this more exciting that it probably would be without. I didnt expect much because the style usually doesnt hold up in bottle but this one is nicely drinkable. excited to revisit this on tap in Salzburg.

Only beer on tap at Bräustubl Tavern at Mühl, Augustinergasse, Salzburg. Beer not visible due to ceramic mugs. Grainy and malty, some caramel, very drinkable, lacks body, but has a sweet finish. Fresh and light. Good märzen, interesting place.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy amber with stable white head. Mild aroma of malt, with faint notes of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt. Bitterish and estery aftertaste. A little watery but not unenjoyable and consumed in a nice place.
