At Keyaki. Bright pink red, small light pink head. Aroma is light cranberry, bit of strawberry too i think. Jam like. Taste is cranberry but quite sweet too. Decent dryness from the cranberry. Pretty fruity but not much else. I like it but feel bad about liking it as it seems to be pretty much a fruit juice. % is now 3 apparently, so maybe they have changed the recipe a bit.

Tap @ Oedo beer festival, Shinagawa Intercity. Pours light pinkish with some white foam on top. Nose is watery-juicy, light bitterness and tartness. Tastes like watery cranberry juice, some grainy malt character in the background. I guess you need to drink this in a hot summer day, otherwise difficult to appreciate it fully.

Draft at Keyaki Spring 2015. Clear red with a fizzy pink head. Aromas of cranberry and syrup. Light body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Active carbonation. Cranberry with a touch of yeast on the palate. Nice and dry. Not overly cloying. Crisp and refreshing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cranberry Lager on 26 May 2015 at 18:55 - Score: 7

On tap at Chateau Kamiya, Ibaraki, Japan. A pink/red coloured pour with a medium pink head on top. Cranberry aroma. Tastes of cranberry, quite dry, not really my thing but I’ve had a lot worse.

3-4 ounces as part of the beer sampler at Chateau Kamiya’s La Terrace restaurant. Clear pink with off-white head. Aromas of big cranberry and raspberry. Tastes of big cranberry, fruit syrup, light tartness. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. It pours a purplish red with a light pink head of foam. I get what shoulderbroken is saying in that it is fairly juice like. A very fruity nose, somewhat wine like not cranberry so much as grape - yeasty. The taste is somewhat cloying raisin-grape flavor without much malt or hop presence. A tasty drink that isn’t all that beer like or cranberry. Fun low ABV fruitiness though.

dumped cranberry juice in a lager. Ass. Most disappointing beer from this brewery.

Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival 2009. A useless fruit syrup drink. Sweet-and-sour nastiness. Cloying and not nice at all. They should stick to all-malt lagers.
