Our Big Eye IPA is a big hoppy brew, thanks to the abundance of American Columbus and Centennial varieties we use to flavor and dry hop. While the English originally added extra hops to preserve their beers for sea travel, we do it for the love of all that bold, intense flavor that makes India Pale Ale one of our favorite styles.

Can. Pours burnt amber, fairly clear, a big 2-3 finger creamy beige head. Aroma- caramel, chocolatey malt, grapefruit, pineapple juice, hop resins, pine needles, smells very nice. Taste- bitter hops, hop resin, orange peel, pineapple, grapefruit, with creamy caramel malt undertones. Mouthfeel is clingy and the finish is long.

Can from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, caramel and booze. Flavour of bitter grapefruit, pine and a hint of onion. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A really solid IPA - bitter and hoppy.

Pours an amber from a bottle, good dank hop aroma, piney, some floral notes. Flavor has got the same notes, some bitterness balanced by some nice caramel malt. Very good beer.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a mostly clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly off white head. Solid toffee and bready caramel maltiness with plenty of earthy pine and hints of citrus. Solid old school IPA.

Can from Brewdog.com. Pours clear amber with caramel cream coloured head. Big bitter aroma. Taste is a big brash high-IBU hop bomb with plenty of resin. A bit too much perhaps.
