Copper coloured body with almost no head. Aroma of caramel, peaches, malt, peanut brittle and toffee. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with sweetness from fruits largely noticeable. Aftertaste shows harsh cardboard and alcohol with malt noticeable as well. Overall, not so great. I’ve had this before, but this time Jon[R888710] is the one that gives me a beer from upstate new york. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York on 18-September-2004.

Orangey-amber. Malty, butterscotchy aroma. Palate has a slight marmalade note, with nuts, earthy sweetness of dark malts. Slight rye whiskey note.

This tastes like a slightly maltier, more well balanced version of their IPA. It has a rusty brown color, and a rocky white head. Roasty, earthy, slightly sweet up front with a bitter finish. Not bad at all.
