A higher gravity seasonal version of the year-round Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale. It’s made with Westmalle Trappist yeast that creates those curious phenolic off-flavors that are freakin’ everyone out these days. Massively dosed with boatloads of wheat and pale malt and finishes with a big, hoppy ending.

Pleasantly surprised with this beer, I could say that it is a generous IPA, classical, citrus, resinous side, rather dry, perfectly bitter, 02.08.18, at one monoprix, Paris, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Bottled. Deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is perfumed soap with zesty and some mild spicy elements. Flavour is zesty, some sweet malts, a bit spicy yeast to it with big time fruity finish. Very hopped.

Keg at Brewdog Camden. Pale blond colour, bit cloudy. Big beige/off white creamy head. Aroma is spicy, sweet, cinnamon, very creamy and quite fruity too. Something savoury in there too. Very strange but very nice. Taste is fruity strawberry, with hoppy bitterness. Maybe mango and pineapple too. Quite yeasty, and with a handful of spice. Sour funky finish which slowly fades to creamy. Bit spiky in mouth, and bit boozy like a tripel. Really unusual, really like it.

bottle, old rating - Pours hazy golden-orange, smells of citrus, yeast, and caramel malt. It has a big, hoppy flavor, moderately bitter at a minimum, citrusy notes, malt sweetness, and that Belgian yeast character. Very good.
