A higher gravity seasonal version of the year-round Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale. It’s made with Westmalle Trappist yeast that creates those curious phenolic off-flavors that are freakin’ everyone out these days. Massively dosed with boatloads of wheat and pale malt and finishes with a big, hoppy ending.

Its kinda like an IIPA. The nose the everything is very much on spot. Basically it goes along this linear path until the end. The end explodes. Nothing like I expect, but funk everywhere. The yeast the lingering weirdness, the lingerning heavenliness. It is just awesome. Basically a decent IIPA that Angel’s touch.

Bomber. First, a huge kick in the nuts to the jackass who wrote the virus code that has infected my laptop. This is an iPhone rating because of technical issues. I hope you die a slow and painful death, bastard. Alright, so this beer is a pretty clean gold, unlike the filthy scum of cyberland. Head is small and aromas are adequately interesting. Quite a mix of light fruit, honey and citrus. Flavor is sweeter than expected. A mix of pear and peach that has a little twang of wildness to it and a citrusy bite in the finish. I like it... I hope the hacking asshats who messed up my computer never get to try it.

Appearance: Crystal clear golden with a huge frothy white head and lots of sticky lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Sweet malts, honey, spices, citrus
Taste: Sweet malts, Belgian yeast, pine and spices
Very nice beer. I really enjoyed this one.

Pour is a golden with a foamy white head. Aroma is a very nice pine hop with a equally nice Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet malts with a nice hoppy backbone and again that Belgian yeast makes an appearance. Very flavorful and Belgiany. Also Lagunitas is always easy on the wallet so this makes this one something to look for.

very tasty, great color and aroma, this might very well be the best that lagunitas has to offer. a perfect balance of the belgian yeast from Westmalle, and the west coast hops. great beer that I cant wait to try again.

Pours a deep, golden straw. Almost clear with a very slight haze. Head is white and cumulous, although most of the body leaves quickly, the remnants of the head remain. Big hop citrus starts the nose, but follows through with a hint of dark fruit on the finish, nice yeast as well. A well-balanced beer - I get a lot of wheat on the flavor profile with nice bitterness from the mid-palate back. Nice chewy malt yeast (wild), but not overpoweringly so. Can really taste the alcohol on this. Might be judging a little harsh based on high expectations.

Draft at Independent, St. Pete. Clear golden body. Off-white head, slowly diminishing. Hop aroma of citrus, orange and flowers. Notes of toasted grain, hay. Hint of clove. The flavor is lightly bitter and moderately sweet. It finishes lightly to moderate sweet and lightly to moderately bitter, a bitterness that grows and lingers on the tongue. Medium body, watery texture turning sticky, lively carbonation. An interesting beer with a nice balance created by the hop profile and the Belgian yeast. Citrus fruits dominate the aroma, but not the flavor.
