At the Sendai Tazawako place as Sakura Komachi. Amber with hint of pink (only in my mind...) taste is predominately malty, touch of something floral maybe but it's hard to tell if it's my imagination. Caramel, but quite light. Maybe touch of fruitiness. Alright, but not so exciting.

Sample at the Hanshin Seed event. 5% Deep copper, very fruity & floral aroma. Very grainy sweet light malt cracker/bready taste with a sweet floral finish. Medium bodied. Interesting and decent with a mild tangy finish. Why is this listed as a fruit beer? Shouldn’t it be a Spice/Herb/Vegetable beer...?

I actually thought this was a competently made Vienna. fairly full bodied, nice malty backbone with some bready notes, toss in cherries and light carameliness with some noble hops and the beer isn’t that bad really. Again it is refrshing, but with body.

Draught at the brewpub. Medium to dark amber with an off-white, frothy, fine head. Aroma of amber malts (Vienna), cherry and other fruits, caramel. Quite fruity with a touch of citrus. Pale amber malt flavor, with a bit of caramel and lots of wachy fruitys. Cherry, Muscat, fresh plum. Doesn’t really work well. A fruity, un-bitter, alt, basically. A bit cloying and slightly insipid.
