Baeren Rye Bock Filtered 6.5% Another murky brown pour which didn’t look too appetizing though the thick light beige foam was attractive. It had a sweet fruity and lightly spicy rye aroma. Medium to full bodied with prickly carbonation. The taste is spicy flavors with mild cocoa notes. Simple but nice.

Caramel, light on funkiness. Nice. Bit of spice.

Bottle thanks to kyotolefty pours out brown with a small head. Nose is great nice bananas roast nutty flavor spice and some chocolate sweetness. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate malts spice banana bread notes.

Slightly muddy dark brown, with a huge head. Big aroma of banana and chocolate, and rye, clove. Slightly sour. Smooth, rich, huge flavor. Rye, banana, chocolate, spice, with a bitter hop and burnt malt finish that surprises. Super complex. Bubbly, soft, foamy mouthfeel. The funky, strange bitterness is interesting and challenging. Amazing. Their best so far.
