Cloudy gold. Sweet banana and some wheat. Candied banana and a surprisingly pleasant sweetness. No clove and tons of candy. Normally I would hate this but today I like it.

Tap at Ant and Bee. Orange amber colour, slightly cloudy, thick creamy white head. Aroma is interesting, slightly citrus, cream, banana, wheat and a touch of funk. Taste is great, typical Weizen wheatiness, and banana creaminess, but with a little bit of sourness too. Very nice. Slight prickle in the mouth.

Tap @ Craft Beer Bar Marciero, Osaka. Hazy orange pour with white head on top. Cloves and yeast spice in the nose, some light acidity, wheaty for sure. Medium body, flavourful, lots of esters. Good and in the style.

Tap at Watering Hole. Pours a cloudy, deep gold with 2 fingers of foam. Huge banana and key-lime pie. Lots of banana on the palate, creamy with a hint of tartness. Easy drinking. Awesome weizen.

320 ml glass on draft at Mojiko Retro Beer. Murky yellowish orange with off-white head. Aromas of banana, yeast, light citrus. Tastes of banana, yeast, herbs, light spice. Medium body with a dry finish.

Tap at Ushi-Tora, Tokyo. Murky yellow color, decent white head. Aroma has clove, banana and citrus. Medium-bodied. Flavor has banana - dryish anyway - clove and citrusy hoppyness. Decent weizen without faults.

5% on tap at Craft Beer Man, 650 yen with a bit more than an inch of head! Excessive on such a small glass... Anyways, on to the beer. It poured an opaque cloudy gold with a big yeasty aroma of spicy cloves & light banana. Very soft mouthfeel on a light verging on thin body. The flavor matches the nose, spicy cloves, sweet fruity yeast & hints of banana but I get the feeling it is undercarbed. Someday, I’ll try this at the brewpub to see the difference. Good, but I suspect under the right conditions this could be great.

cloudy golden color. Clovey with a touch of bananas. Mouth is not too balanced, a touch sour. Clovey finish. Decent, but not great.

draught at the brewpub. Beautiful, golden-orange , thick color, cloudy with a high, thick, lovely head. Buttery banana ad clove aroma. Just a bit too much butter, maybe. Amazingly well-balanced flavor. Great fruit, banana mostly, and citrus, with just enough tartness to balance it perfectly. Smooth, clean, and edgeless. A spectacular weizen, IMO. One of the best in Japan.
