Tap at Living in Yokohama. Nice caramel aroma, malty, but with a hint of something. Taste is similar, caramel sweetness, malty, touch of grassy hop bitterness. Nice stuff.

Maerzen? No wonder I couldn’t find a listing for Baeren’s Marzen! Tap at Ichi-ya. Amber brown in color with a thick beige head that leaves copious lacing behind. Very nice aroma of toasted biscuit. Medium bodied and fairly smooth with a dry crackery finish. Malty goodness, crackery, toasty, biscuits and high quality freshly baked bread with just a touch of sweetness and noble hops in the finish. Not the most exciting style but solidly in Baeren’s wheelhouse and they nailed it.

Draught at Wachi. Deep, glowing bronze / amber color. Thin, lacy head. Light, slightly caramel aroma. Medium rich Vienna malt flavor, with caramel. Reasonably good, but too light and could use more flavor. Very drinkable, though.
