Nice. Light strawberry, vanilla creaminess but with a hint of beer there too.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy ruby red grapefruit color. Lovely wild strawberry nose with some light grain and a slight Belgian funky yeast. Average carbonation with a medium body. Slightly grainy mouthfeel. Well-balanced. The strawberry is well-done without being overly sweet. Very mild actually. The Belgian yeast twist is nice. Fairly dry finish. Well done fruit beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sweet Strawberry on 13 Feb 2016 at 17:37 - Score: 7. Original review text: Solid fruit beer. Good balance between malt and strawberry.

On tap at Bungalow. It pours a red or pinkish orange, similar to their tomato beer(tasted like pizza!) with a light pink-white head of foam. The nose is if fresh-cut strawberries. As it warms up the aroma becomes more of a strawberry jam, appetizing. The beer is smooth & quite full-bodied. The taste is sweet, syrupy strawberries with that Freezee kind of artificial quality to it. Very sweet, somewhat cloying. The only thing really beer-like about it is some biscuit/malt notes lurking behind all that berry sweetness. Decent enough though...

Draught at Qbrick, May 08. Sweet, sugary aroma of strawberries. Sweet syrupy flavor with lots of strawberries and some wheat malt. Too sweet and artificial tasting. Cloying. Good strawberry flavor in itself, but it is too much. Not up to the standard set by their framboise.
