Bottle from Isetan’s Holkaido Fair served in a Weizen glass. A cloudy gold with s thick head of foam that lingers leaving soapy lacing in it’s wake. A rich spicy wheat aroma with a silky mouthfeel. Subdued flavor with crackery malts and light spiciness. Average but fine for all that.

Bottle at Chitose airport. Golden Yellow color, cloudy. Small lacy head. Not so fragrant aroma of malts and a bit of fruit and vegetable. A touch sour. Tastes like there is a rather low percentage of wheat. Strong barley malt flavor, with wheat. A bit sweet, buttery, apples, well-hopped for a weizen. Good fruity roundness from the yeast. Long lasting dry hop finish. Like a pilsner that has gotten a splash of wheat in it. Interesting and decent. Not a straightforward weizen at all, but I like it, though it is not mind-blowing.
