Bottled at pre-RBJG festivities in Kyoto. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Floral orangey and buttery aroma. Sweetish with rounded soft mouthfeel. Perfumy and orangey, quite flavourful with long increasingly bitter finish. A good beer with lots of substance.

Bottle, sold at Liquor Mountain. Medium amber color, reasonably tall, fine head. Cloudy. Very yeasty aroma, full of amber malt. Earthy, barnyard smell much like an amber biere de garde. Nutty, grainy. Dry amber malt flavor. Good malt character yet not overly rich. Medium to light body; relatively strong carbonation. Decent hops. A rather strong hop finish, with roasted malt. very, very dry, with a long lasting bitter hop character. A very dry, well made amber ale. It is very interesting.
