On tap at Wiz. Pours ruby, very small off-white head. Malty, grape, grape juice, sweet, bit sourish. Light to medium bodied. Interesting, but bit of a mess really.

2014 Spring on tap at Craft Beer Market Jimbocho. Served in a snifter. Deep amber color with a pinkish white carbonated head. Strong grape/muscat smell with hints of currants and blackberry and wheat. Taste is grape-forward. Quite unbalanced, and drinks more like a cheap carbonated wine cooler. Thin body and watery mouthfeel with carbonation. Finish was smooth. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cabernet on 12 May 2015 at 19:17 - Score: 4

Draft - caramel, strawberries and slightly vinous. Deep amber with a thin white head. A bit sweet berries but decent although a bit one sided. Sour a bit and you have a winner.

On tap at the Minoh brewery anniversary party, May 2008. Slightly ruby color. Sweet, grape flavor clashing with the beer. Too sweet and too complicated without being balanced and complex. reminds me of Champale or a wine cooler. Not for me.

Orange/ruby with a nearly non-existant purple head. Sweet fruity aroma, malts, and kool-aid. Flavor is light grape, sweet, light hops, and fruit juice. Light bitter, fruity finish. Thin, yet syrupy. Really not that great.
