Bottle from Nagoya station. Aroma is a bit creamy, grassy hops, herbal. Taste is alright, crisp, little bit of sweetness, something a little strange. Got a macro feel to it, but it's alright.

Taster showing straw with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows intense notes of malt. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Mildly sweet with a mid palate of corn malts and a moderately intense bitterness on the finish.

Bottle (bought from Gifu)
Golden color, decent white head. "Green", hemp-like hoppyness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Harsh hoppyness in the flavor. Hoppyness is quite "green", raw pellet like. Unbalanced German-type pils.

330 ml bottle from Takashimaya @ Nagoya station. Pours light yellow, looks a bit watery but has nice foam. Has some carbonation. Aroma has a bit of malts, feels fresh although there is a bit of cardboard too. Taste is crisp, bitter and spritzy. Not bad as a pilsener although it could use a more solid body.

400 yen from the Kintetsu department in Kusatsu. A nice clear straw gold pour with a thick fluffy head of foam that lingered & leaves lots of lacing behind. The aroma is grassy with a sharp noble hop bite. Light body, a bit rough mid-mouth but a very bitter finish. It is ok but the bitter finish is really ascerbic, not for me. It is ok but too bitter & not smooth enough for a pilsner. I prefer their miso beer.

Bottle from my wifes relative in Nagoya, Japan. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Vague hoppy, grassy aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, bitter. It’s just about OK.
