Throw your expectations out the window. We know Stouts are supposed to be dark, but what fun is that? Really. Casper White Stout is a white buffalo standing out from the herd – a diamond in the rough, white chocolate – you get it. Distinctively golden in color with big Pilsen malt flavor, and a touch of hops. Your next step? Pour it in your glass. Available in 6pack Cans and on Nitrogen Tap.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Green Bay. Bought this one by accident, but at least its a new tick. Hazy pale golden, looks a little viscous. Thin foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of vanilla, white chocolate, pale malt. The taste is caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, pale malt, mild bitter hops. Thin. Not great. Not remotely a stout, and blond stouts are a stupid idea.

Pour Is a almost clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is pretty much all sweet cocoa powder. Not bad. Flavor is sweet and thin with some cocoa powder and the finish is more bitter than you would expect. Probably brewed as a golden ale with some artificial chocolate flavoring thrown in there. The aroma was the best thing about this beer.

Can. A- Candy, white chocolate. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Sweet, white chocolate, subtle bubblegum. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- All my intuition told me this was gonna be bad. But I still had to have it. Why? Because it was a white stout and the only way to find out what the hell a white stout is would be to buy and drink it. This is certainly no stout in my book, and I agree with the style category now. I expected a white or even brown color. Nope, golden orange. Smell was that of sugary candy and palate was not that roasty chocolate goodness I know in a stout. It wasn’t repulsive but it was weird. Smelled and tasted like white chocolate but at the same time I’m not sure it actually does taste or smell like white choclate. Hell if I know.

From a can, gold with a big white head. Full bodied and creamy, with slight cocoa and malt aroma. Malty, too sweet chocolate flavor with cloying finish. You can taste that "natural flavor added", unfortunately.

Can shared by Someone at the Meeting tonight, thanks for the opportunity! Pale golden color with a minimal head. Huge Vanilla and cream soda aromas. Big vanilla maltiness. Interesting beer, I’m glad I got to try it but its hard to call this a stout.
