Deilig ettersmak gjør at glasset fort tømmes.

On tap at Både&. An unclear amber colored beer with a small off-white head. Some lacing. Some cellar in the aroma, it’s citrusy, with lots of rhubarb. Some pale malts. Citrus, rhubarb, some pale malts and a faint yeasty touch in the flavor. Very moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, nice carbonation. Wouldn’t mind it a tad drier. Lasting finish. Sure a fine one, summer style. 161217

Tap @ Bakgården Både &. Murky orange body with a thin white head. Aroma has quite distinct sour fruity and actually reminds me more of oranges than rhubarb. Same goes for the flavor; it’s really refreshing sour’ish, and not really acidic sour. (In Norwegian what I call “syrlig” instead of “sur” despite if one or two persons might disagree on this term.” ) Anyway it’s more fruity than malty and the fruit flavor is distinct on the refreshing side of fruitiness. As the rhubarb flavor it selves is rather subtle whiteout the acidity and this beer is not very acidic and the remaining flavor has a lot in common with oranges and clementine’s in my humble mouth. Not much malt, not much hoppyness in other words. Even if I’m, not a big fan of beers that tastes more of fruit juice than beer this one is pretty solid in my book. It’s a fine hybrid between fruit and beer in a non-lambic or Berliner weisse way, just a really fruity beer with no artificial flavors at all and for sure really refreshing (=FRISK). Approved!
