Draught @ Ginger Man (12/4/19). Extremely hazy dark yellow with foamy off-white head, faint citrus-pineapple aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter orange-pineapple taste, smooth thin body, long finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Cloudy, bubbly head. Soft body, fairly low bitterness for the style, and just a touch of alcohol in the back. The hops seem smooth, pears, raspberries, and papaya all in one, yet, cohesive.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tropical fruits, pithy stone fruits, and some dank hops. Flavour is full of pithy stone fruits, tropical notes, dank hops, and biscuity malt. Dank and yeasty, with a pithy finish. Pleasant, but a little too yeast and chalky.

Can pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is cloudy/murky dark yellow/light brown with large, white floaties, light sparkle at the edges of the glass, tiny white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is moderate citrus--a little bit astringent, a little bit tart--over grainy malt backbone. Taste is citrus, mango, and late milder pineapple and resiny pine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, mild alcohol burn, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, some nice elements and aroma and taste are pretty strong but look is not great and mouthfeel's a little thin and overcarbonated. Can is a bit old (4/15/19) so might be better fresher.

Can at home. Hazy yellow color, average sized white to off-white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma and flavor are tropical fruit, tropical fruit hoppy and sweetish hoppy. I miss bitterness but it's still quite pleasant. 8-2-8-4-14.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish, slightly hazy orange gold with a quickly dissipating head of white foam. Aromas of tea leaf, citrus, melon and slightly oxidized malt are present on the nose. Lowish to no carbonation with more tea leaf, stone fruit and melon on the palate. Slight boozy prickle on the tongue towards the finish. Quick, watery finish. About 6 weeks old, so probably past it's prime or headed that way.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/24/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, coconut, blueberry, gooseberry, red apple, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, coconut, blueberry, gooseberry, red apple, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, coconut, blueberry, gooseberry, red apple, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel. Amazing Mosaic, Cashmere, Simcoe profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
