We love beasts of lore. Unicorns, Dragons, and untold combinations therein. When it came time to name our epic Russian Imperial Stout, it only made sense for an epic fantasy beast to become the namesake. Thus was born the Blaecorn Unidragon: part Black Unicorn, part Soul Dragon, and the ultimate mythical beast. This rich and complex brew was designed to improve with age, with aggressive hops and an intense dark malt bill that fill this Russian Imperial Stout with intense flavors and a full body.

Pours a black brown from a bottle. Tasting table sample. Roasty smokey chocolate smell is mostly overshadowed by smoke in the mouth, a little creosote in there. Offputting burnt licorice. Not my bag.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Black thick pour with minimal tan head. Aroma is roasted coffee, nuts, dark fruit and chocolate. Taste is big bitterness at first - coffee and some bitter hops, followed by dark fruit, some savoriness, bitter boozy finish. Nice. Less hoppy flavor than the description suggested but deeply bitter. Good but not great.

Not quite as well balanced as the undead but still good. More evident booze in this, with subdued roast elements and some chocolate. Caramel. Bittersweet finish. Creamy consistency. Tap at Churchkey.
