Can from Family Mart. Clear gold. Tall, fine head. Big, fruity hop nose. Citrus, tropical, herbal, flowery. Quite impressive, with honey malt in the background. More aromatic than previous versions. Flavor is clean malts, herbal, citrusy hops, and a rather pronounced bitterness. Not super sweet, though maybe a tad too much? The bitterness balances. A bit metallic, though, and though enjoyable, there is something strange about the overall flavor balance. Not bad though.

500 ml can from Family Mart. I generally have enjoyed these, so looking forward. Says it uses Citra and Mosaic hops. Bright citrusy nose even as I pour. Quite big for a Sapporo. Definitely getting Citra: lemon, sweet orange, plus a bit of passion fruit, and nice pilsner malt too. Bright, deep golden color. Clear, with a low head. Quite hoppy. Citrus, herbal, quite bitter too. Crackery malt. The hops go quite nicely with the pilsner-like malt. Like many in this series, it is just a lick too bitter, and that hands around quite long. Pretty decent, though

Can from Family Mart. Rich noble hop nose, herbal, spicy, light citrus. Very German. Malt is restrained and clean. Flavor is herbal and fruity, with the malt int he background, lightly sweet but very bitter. Possibly a bit too bitter, but overall very crisp and clean and hoppy. Like it.
