Salty and some citrus. Yuzu?

No head. Very pale golden color. Certainly doesn’t look appealing. Bizzare, but somehow enjoyable, nose of salty tropical fruit with crackery malt and underlying tartness. I really like the nose nose. The palate however leaves a bit more to be desired. Low hops, the fruitiness and salt are there but highly subdued. As it warms bitterness pokes it’s head through a bit more, but still doesn’t change the score. A bit of peach and saltiness in the finish. It starts great and finishes ok which means it’s just ok. A lot of potential

Tap at Komachi. Pretty, cloudy golden. Lemony nose, crackery malt. Rich but dry, crackery malt is dominant, with the salt it is a bit like a saltine. Lemony hops are restrained. Crisp and light, works well. Not sure where the idea came from, but interesting.

Tap @ Beer Boy in Nakameguro. Hazy yellow golden pour, some white foam and some lacings. Nose has herbs, somewhat malty and a bit grainy. Tastes salty, thirst quenching and quite interesting actually. Grainy saltiness there still. Herbal bitterness in the finish. Decent but it doesn't awe me.
