dość słaby zapach, lekko przypominający posłodzoną herbatę. piana słaba, kolor pomarańczowo-złoty, nieprzejrzyste. w smaku słodkie, treściwe, znowu wyczuwalna herbata z mlekiem. nie czuć ani kolendry ani pomarańczy.

Bottle at MIA Irish Pub Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Aroma has orange peels and fruity wheatyness. Light-bodied. Fruity, hints of coriander, quite sweet witbier. Goes with food.

Not sure what to say about this. Well it’s bottled from Beers of Europe. Colour is cloudy orange., with little to no head. I tried this after Hoegaarden another commercial brewed Belgian White beer, and the flavour of spice orange etc. seems absent when compared. A touch disappointed but it’s ok.

All these years I’ve had this one and forgot to review it until now.
Here’s my notes from 11/11/2011.
The appearance is a hazy pale orange at the bottom but darker orange closer to the top, small white head disappeared within seconds, very little lacing.
The smell is orange, coriander, spices, weak yeast only after it warmed a bit.
The taste is exactly the same as the smell without any yeast.
The palate is basically a light to medium styled body with some harshness assaulting the mouth and tongue all over, sessionable, bland citrusy aftertaste, dull finish.
Overall, well, its not the best witbier on the market according to Belgian standards, but hey for me since I’m not a true Belgian fan, I don’t mind this so much. Its not bad by the pool in the summer or next to the grill.

Tap at Slaney Bar & Kitchen, DUB T2 19/01/14. Hazed orange with a well appointed white cap that stays for the show. Nose is red apple, orange, light spice, bready/yeasty tones. Taste comprises candied orange peel, sugars, light apricot, vanilla, corriander, light cloves. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet closure. So so offering, sub par for style, overly sweet which doesnt result in the crisp clean finish i crave from this style.
